These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Kvick (the "Service"), operated by Second Jeans Stockholm (enskild firma) ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of the service

Kvick is an AI-powered study and writing assistant. It provides tools for rewriting, grammar checking, summarizing, explaining concepts, finding sources, generating citations, creating outlines, and generating quizzes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

• using the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• uploading or generating illegal, harmful, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content;
• attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's security;
• using the Service to generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
• abusing free tiers, circumventing usage limits, or disrupting the Service's availability.

4. Intellectual property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the Service are owned by Second Jeans Stockholm (enskild firma). You retain ownership of content you input into the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal study and writing purposes.

5. Payment and subscriptions

Kvick offers free and paid subscription plans. Payments for subscriptions are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for: material breach of these Terms; non-payment of subscription fees; conduct that creates a security, fraud, or legal risk; or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use policy.

7. Disclaimers

AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using outputs appropriately. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Second Jeans Stockholm (enskild firma)'s liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

9. Generative AI use

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and how you use AI-generated outputs. Do not use Kvick to create illegal, misleading, hateful, or infringing content. Outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable for regulated professional advice. Always verify information with authoritative sources.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
